We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager with paralegal experience to join our team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in managing projects and an understanding of legal documentation, compliance, and regulatory processes. The Project Manager will work cross-functionally with our legal and operational teams, providing project oversight, coordinating resources, and ensuring that deliverables meet our compliance standards and organizational goals. They will oversee, manage, and fix existing issues and taking projects to a full-life cycle.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including, but not limited to, the following:
- Manage and fix existing project issues: take projects - map out and see through a full-life cycle.
- Project Planning and Execution:Oversee and manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives, timelines, and budgets. Develop detailed project plans, manage task assignments, and adjust project plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Coordination:Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams.
- Legal Documentation and Compliance:Utilize paralegal expertise to review, draft, and coordinate legal documents, contracts, and agreements. Ensure all project activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
- Risk Assessment and Issue Resolution:Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Work with the legal team to assess and mitigate risks and resolve issues efficiently.
- Reporting and Documentation:Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, timelines, status reports, and meeting minutes. Regularly update and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
- Quality Assurance:Monitor and ensure the quality and compliance of all project deliverables, leveraging legal knowledge to uphold industry standards and organizational guidelines.
Educational experience
- Education:Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
- Experience:3+ years of experience in project management, preferably with exposure to legal or compliance-related projects. Paralegal experience is highly desirable.
