Unity House Housing Liaison in Troy, New York

Unity House of Troy is currently seeking a Housing Specialist in our Domestic Violence Housing Support Services Program. Position maybe eligible for sign on bonus

Responsibilities:

Provide assistance and case management services to domestic violence victims who reside in our permanent housing program.

Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning.

Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services.

Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities.

Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends.

Promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred; 2 or more years of related experience. Valid NYS driver’s license. Reliable transportation. High School or GED required with at least 3 years of related experience in the human services and/or domestic violence fields. Please be familiar with HUD, federal and state housing regulations preferred but not required. Bi-Lingual a great asset!
