Hudson Valley Community College Coordinator of Admissions Systems in Troy, New York

Coordinator of Admissions Systems

This internal position is available immediately and is open to Current HVCC or EOC Employees.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years’ experience in post-secondary admissions or related Student Services position involving routine use of student records and record systems, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept with technology and the ability to communicate effectively.

Nature and Scope of Duties: The Coordinator of Admission Systems reports to the Director of Admissions, or their designee and performs the following duties:

  1. Assists with general maintenance of all admissions systems, including but not limited to, customer relationship management (CRM) software, student information system (SIS), imaging software and reporting systems as they related to admission operations.

  2. Responsible for oversight and function of CRM software. Remains current with understanding CRM upgrades.

  3. Implements and manages CRM communication plans as they relate to admission operations. Works with the Director of Admissions to identify new opportunities for communication plans.

  4. Collaborates with admissions staff to ensure communication plans function as expected and review suitability and effectiveness of plans.

  5. Collaborates with admissions and programming staff to align CRM with SIS functionality as needed.

  6. Assists with technical functions including:

a. Upgrade testing and troubleshooting of all admissions systems.

b. Creation of data, downloads, queries and reports in support of office and institutional functions and processes.

  1. Maintain liaison with CRM software developer to learn about enhancements.

  2. Design training materials for staff on all admissions systems. Administers training programs to staff as new modules are introduced, new staff are hired and as needed.

  3. Generates admissions-related reports from CRM routinely and as-needed.

  4. Works closely with programming staff to solve problems and troubleshoot issues with all systems used by admissions.

  5. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Salary is commensurate with experience. This is a 12-month, Full-Time position with a salary range of $48,000-$50,000.
