Job Title: Wire Harness Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Wire Harness Assemblers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling wire harness products from start to finish. Your tasks will include various assembly operations such as applying plastic connectors, heat shrinking, sleeving, labeling, coiling wires, and soldering terminals according to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assembly operations involving the application of plastic connectors and hardware on wire harnesses.

• Apply heat shrink, sleeving, labels, and spot tie as required.

• Coil individual or multiple wires per specified dimensions.

• Solder terminals and wires per customer specifications.

• Follow work procedures and blueprints to meet production schedules.

Essential Skills

• At least 1 year of hand soldering/wire harness experience.

• Experience with blueprints and wire schematics.

• Proficiency in wire harness and cable assembly.

• Experience with hand and power tools, including crimpers, soldering irons, cutters, and strippers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with IPC 620 or J-STD-001 standards.

• Ability to read a ruler and understand measurement systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
