Job Summary The Training Instructor II is responsible for developing and conducting training for a functional or corporate audience. This position focuses on teaching specific areas of knowledge or on-the-job capabilities required for Banking Operations and general technical and product training. May include direct observation of business unit practices, gathering and analyzing feedback, and collaboration with business unit leaders in order to develop training materials such as presentations, eLearnings, job aids, etc.

Job Responsibilities: Delivers a variety of instructor led and/or virtual courses. Topics may include but not limited to: skill development, organizational development, sales training, product training, system training, new hire training, and continuing education. Development and revision of training materials such as teaching aides, handbooks, PowerPoint presentations, eLearning's and reference guides, under minimal supervision. Gathers and analyzes training evaluation feedback to assess effectiveness and drive improvement; Ensures training rosters are collected and courses/attendees are tracked in the company's learning management system Direct observation of business unit practices, as needed. Observation may include but is not limited to: train the trainers, observation of existing training, shadowing business unit, co-facilitate.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required. Consistently adheres to regulatory and compliance policies and standards linked to the job as listed and complete required compliance trainings. Accountable to maintain compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.

Required Qualifications: Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent. Minimum experience required: 3 Years of training experience (instructor led and/or virtual training). Minimum 2 years' experience in banking or financial industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent) (education, instructional design or related field is preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience using eLearning development software (preferably Articulate).

Job Competencies: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; particularly experienced in presenting to a variety of audiences and number of people. Ability to demonstrate interpersonal and presentation skills. Proven leadership skills and the ability to act as a professional role model. Proven time management and organizational skills with close attention to detail. Solid knowledge of the latest corporate training techniques. Ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly. A high competency in Microsoft Office products. Independent thinking and self-motivation required. Ability to cross train and become a subject matter expert in multiple topics. Ability to work regularly scheduled hours, 8:30-5:00 PM Monday - Friday; some weekend or evening hours may be required upon business need. Ability to travel (% and location(s) varies based on training team but usually less than 15%). Physical demands (ADA): The job requires a moderate degree of physical exertion and stamina such as standing, sitting, walking, driving or infrequent lifting.
