About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineering Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Senior Systems Administrator, IT Engineering you will be responsible for the administration of regional and global engineering systems, including hardware, software, and user support. Your main responsibilities will include software monitoring, configuration troubleshooting of CAx software for the engineering community. Addition items would include handling incidents and reviewing support tickets, as well as providing 2nd/3rd-Level-Support for CAx setup.

Regular travel: 10-15% of the time.

Your Responsibilities

  • Administration of regional and global engineering systems, including hardware, software, and user support

  • Understanding of CAx software licenses

  • Handling incidents, reviewing support tickets, and escalating issues as required

  • Providing 2nd/3rd-level-support for CAx setup

  • Participating in the creation of future technical strategies

  • Participating in the creation of yearly budget

  • Experience in installing and maintaining CAD environments (Startpanel, Catia, NX, Pro Eng. TeamCenter)

  • Creating and maintaining user and system documentation

  • Administrating virtual infrastructure

  • Script writing in bat, powershell, and xml

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of work related experience

Your preferred qualifications

  • Proven experience in the administration of engineering systems

  • Strong knowledge of Catia, NX and TeamCenter configuration files

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Familiarity with CAx setup and support

  • Proficiency in CAD environments such as Startpanel, Catia, NX, Pro Eng. TeamCenter

  • Experience with virtual infrastructure administration

  • Experience with Windows Server OS and server infrastructure administration

  • Proficiency in script writing in bat, powershell, and xml

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
