About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Business Intelligence Center of Excellence (BI CoE) and a focus on driving the implementation of a cutting-edge Data Marketplace including onboarding support for data products. The role also involves spearheading metadata management, socializing & supporting a Data Mesh architecture, and enhancing internal capabilities in process mining. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in aligning data strategies with organizational goals, promoting data literacy, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration across the enterprise.

Your Responsibilities

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Oversee the BI CoE, ensuring delivery of high-quality insights and analytics.

  • Lead the implementation of the Data Marketplace and support the onboarding of data products

  • Develop and execute strategies for metadata management and the establishment of a Data Mesh architecture.

  • Emphasize the importance of agile methodologies in delivering data products.

Data Management & Governance:

  • Ensure robust data governance and quality management across all initiatives.

  • Integrate a focus on compliance with data privacy and other regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

  • Collaborate with data stewards to maintain metadata standards and practices.

  • Promote data literacy and best practices within the organization.

Innovation & Capability Building:

  • Build and scale process mining capabilities within the organization.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and integrate new technologies as needed.

  • Develop training programs to enhance internal knowledge on technologies and process in area of responsibility

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Work closely with IT, data engineering, and business units to align data strategies.

  • Partner with executive management to support data-driven decision-making.

  • Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Who we are looking for

A holder of Bachelor's or Master degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field, with 5-7 Years of Work Related Experience in:

  • BI, data management, and analytics.

  • proven track record in leading teams and implementing data management initiatives.

Your preferred qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Data Marketplace, metadata management, and Data Mesh concepts.

  • Experience in process mining and related technologies.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with specific data marketplace & meta data management platforms

  • Experience in a manufacturing or similar industry.

  • Certifications in data management, such CDMP, or similar.

  • Knowledge of modern data architectures and cloud platforms.
