Job Description

In this role, you will oversee transaction flow processes, focusing on the design and continuous evaluation of insurance recovery and patient pay workflows. Your day-to-day tasks will include coordinating with various departments to identify and implement improvements, researching errors and denials to find root causes, and developing prevention initiatives. You will also work closely with the Insurance Follow Up and Recovery department, management, and other business units to optimize system changes and enhance performance. Additionally, you will lead training sessions for billing staff, stay updated on compliance requirements, and participate in cross-functional workgroups to drive efficiency and reduce errors

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements

Must Have:

  2+ years of healthcare revenue cycle experience

  1+ year of healthcare accounts receivable billing experience

  1+ year of experince with resolving insurance payer denials

Ability to work independently Pluses:

  Experience with both technical (UB) and professional (1500) billing, preferred.

  Experience with billing and follow up of variety of insurance payers, preferred.

  Experience at a large, complex, integrated healthcare organization, preferred.

  Experience with patient billing, patient accounting and other related applications, preferred.

Experience with EPIC Patient Accounting System, preferred. null
