Develop mathematical finite element (FE) vehicle models for automotive components or systems using LS dyna, Nastran ANSA, Hypermesh, Metapost. Conduct CAE analysis to evaluate and predict the full vehicle or Subsystem component behavior to clarify or resolve design problems to meet government and corporate structural performance requirements. Utilize analysis results to drive the structural design to coply with safety disciplines. Analyze test and report data to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications. Accept Bachelor with 5yr exp as Master. Primary worksite is Troy MI, but relocation is possible.
