HTC Global Services has an opening for the position of Jr. Developer (Ref# JD95GV).
Work Location: Troy, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: Under direct supervision, develop and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards. Involved in requirement analysis, design, development and coding, testing and quality assurance, post implementation support, documentation, and user training. Evaluate requirements for business application design, development, integration, and implementation. Discuss and analyze solution feasibility with other IT infrastructure/technology teams. Identify the client requirements by detailed discussions / meetings with client, functional users, functional/technical consultants, and product owners to collect requirement specifications, metrics, and key performance indicators. Review system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested change is possible within existing system. Analyze business problems in the existing system by collaborating with end users. Work with various stakeholders to create solutions adhering to all IT standards. Coordinate with risk analysts to completely evaluate solutions before proceeding with development. Review technical design specifications and develop or modify the solution as per the business requirements. Prepare test plan based on the system requirements specification. Perform load test to validate solution integrity under extreme use conditions. Inspect test results for accuracy and completeness. Ensure the desired quality standards and the system functionality are being met. Interact with end-users and troubleshoot production issues. Improve overall system design based on user feedback. Explain the end-to-end solution design to the business team for acceptance and train end users on the new solution. Review requirements specifications and prototype with users. Use of PowerShell, Python, R programming, Pega RPA/RDA (Robotic Desktop Automation), AWS, Git, SQL Server, MS Visio, and Windows.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years in a related occupation including Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or related experience. Position requires 1 year of experience with PowerShell, Pega RPA, and R programming. 40hrs/week.
