We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Director of Finance within our Finance team to help support our Automotive business. In this role, you will report to the VP of Finance you will lead the accounting and finance function for the North American locations and are expected to drive efficiency and improvement in all aspects of the function.  This role will interact heavily with functional leadership across the organization to provide financial guidance and support overall performance and profitability.  

So, what will you be doing as the Director of Finance?

• Lead the finance and accounting function for the region.
• Train, develop, and coach controller team by identifying skill gaps and drive training for optimal performance.
• Lead regional compliance function and serve as next level reviewer and approver.
• Supports the FP&A function with regional financial data and serve as key input into the financial planning process to improve accuracy and clarity.
• Address reporting requests as needed.
• Identify and lead regional initiative to improve processes and profitability.
• Act as a key contributor to management reviews of reports including financial reporting and guidance.
