About the Role

As part of the Magna Internal Audit (IA) Investigation & Specials Team, the Coordinator, Internal Audit Investigations will support the Global IA and Group Investigation Leads in administering, coordinating, and monitoring the execution of investigations.

This position reports to the Director, Professional Practices and provides the successful candidate with a healthy mix of investigations administration experience with challenging career opportunities within the corporate Internal Audit Department. The Coordinate, Internal Audit Investigations role requires day-to-day interaction with the Global Internal Audit Team, various corporate functions and Magna Groups and includes preparation of Executive and Product Group level reporting presentations, particularly Group Leadership, Vice President Internal Audit, Compliance & Legal, Chief Financial Officer as well as the Audit Committee.

Your Responsibilities

  • Function as the Ethics Hotline Administrator for timely review and triage of incoming Hotline reports in the Investigation Management system (NAVEX) and addition of new cases, as necessary, as well as handling other system-based administrative activities

  • Monitor & consolidate tracking of cases to ensure complete and accurate status availability together with an update and alignment of the Global Tracking Report to the Investigation Management system.

  • Chair various periodic case update meetings with the Regional Leads, Case Oversight Team, Case Investigation Leads, Corporate functions, and Product Groups

  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly reports and analysis of case status and metrics for the Product Group, Executive and Audit Committee Stakeholders

  • Support Investigation Leads and Specials and Investigation Department processes and requirements, i.e., Background checks and Fraud Risk Assessment, and other tasks on an as needed basis.

Who we are looking for

  • Associate degree in Business, Communications, Pre-law, or other related field

  • 3+ years of experience in an administrative environment responsible for monitoring and reporting duties

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Ability to deliver concise summaries and reports, actively listen during meetings, and develop effective communication strategies.

  • Tackle tasks in a disciplined and systematic manner, with attention to detail in planning, execution, communication, and record retention.

  • Maintain high ethical standards, ensure strict confidentiality of department information

Your preferred qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Communications, Pre-Law, or other related field

  • Administrative related experience within a Manufacturing environment

  • Ability to manage stress and adjust plans quickly while prioritizing tasks effectively within a team environment

  • Demonstrate dedication to completing tasks accurately and efficiently while collaborating as a team member

  • Interact with individuals at all corporate levels objectively, respectfully, and establish strong professional relationships.
