Toyoda Gosei CAE Engineer in Troy, Michigan
Conduct Safety System (SS) airbag/occupant simulations to evaluate system performance for frontal, side, and rear impacts based on customer requirements; Develop advanced SS CAE models and validate with testing to improve the robustness and accuracy of the CAE models. Work with program team (engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customers) to identify and implement CAE strategies to meet/exceed the safety system performance requirements. Communicate to and from internal and external customers to develop plan for CAE based on program schedule and implement properly with due date control. Develop human body model and injury criteria for performance evaluation of new safety devices. Develop new CAE methodologies and processes to improve CAE efficiency and accuracy for SS simulations. Analyze data and results to ensure that correct conclusions are reached for all reports, and provide necessary CAE expertise to program team to improve the impact of CAE on product design and development. Master of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
