Position: Forklift Operator

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to transport materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production facility.

• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and securing of materials.

• Move pallets and other materials to and from storage areas, loading docks, and production lines.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure optimal performance and report any malfunctions.

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

• Keep accurate records of material movements, inventory levels, and completed tasks.

• Assist with inventory management, including stock counts and reporting discrepancies.

• Support production and shipping operations by ensuring timely delivery of materials.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work areas.

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Valid forklift operator certification.

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting.

• Ability to operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck).

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in forklift operation.

• Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

• Basic computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
