Trinidad School District No. 1 Career-Connected Learning Coordinator in Trinidad, Colorado

POSITION: Career-Connected Learning Coordinator

The Career-connected Learning Advisor provides leadership in coordinating the development and implementation of student pathways to include but not limited to CTE programming, internships, apprenticeships Emergent Campus and related programming.

DUTIES: Assist in the development and coordination of student pathways in concert with building administration, higher ed, industry partners, stakeholders and partner organizations. Develop and maintain collaborative industry partnerships. Assist with partners around implementation of remote learning technology and programming in coordination with principals, staff and stakeholders. Assist stakeholders in providing high quality career exploration and guidance Provide opportunities in partnerships for students to participate in expanded learning opportunities and other work-based learning opportunities. Collect, analyze and report data as per program participation to allow for an evaluation of programming. Promote work-based learning opportunities through outreach, marketing and communications. Facilitate meetings, workshops and seminar with appropriate staff and stakeholders. Assist staff in providing the optimal learning environments for students Utilize professional evidence-based research literature and continuing education content to make decisions. Operate the programs in accordance with all federal and state guidelines Attend meetings as required. Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with co-workers and interact with colleagues in a professional manner. These and other duties as may be assigned.

REQUIREMENTS: Ability to work cooperatively in a school atmosphere with staff members, students and public. Ability to effectively read, write, speak and listen to comply with directions and instructions to complete tasks and establish priorities. Integrity, trust and work ethic to work with little supervision Ability to maintain control under pressure and work under the constraint of deadlines. Advanced working knowledge of the principles and procedures of business ethics, recruiting, soft skills, and training for a variety of business situations Knowledge of educational standards and procedures. Flexibility with daily schedules, which may include hours after the normal workday and on weekends depending on the deeds of the program

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree (secondary education) Current Colorado teaching license At least three years successful teaching in secondary education Pass criminal background check Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate and acceptable.

WAGE: $50,000 - $55,000 depending on experience. Certified salary schedule with 21 additional days.
