What You Will Do :

As a Senior ServiceNow developer, you will be a key part of our Innovation Technology Group’s leading ServiceNow architecture and implementation. As a ServiceNow expert you will develop enterprise applications on the ServiceNow platform that meet business objectives, solve complex problems and deliver innovation for customers in both government and private sectors. Daily activities include developing applications within ServiceNow, integrating with web services/applications, system administration, reporting, and performance/automated testing. This will include both configuring existing components and developing reusable custom objects.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement applications using the ServiceNow platform:

• Build custom applications leveraging ServiceNow foundational technologies: Tables, Flows, Spokes, Widgets, Pages

• Extend and configure: Service Portal, Customer Service Module, Project Portfolio Management, IT Service Management, IT Business Management, IT Operations Management, IT Asset Management, App Engine Studio and Configuration Management.

• Design and develop / configure workflows, forms, scripts, and Glide Script

• Participate in all levels of the project lifecycle, from design through implementation, and operations / maintenance.

• Develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements by evaluating alternate solutions, architecting frameworks, as well as estimating level of effort in key phases for delivery.

• Develop and maintain concise end user documentation and runbooks.

• Grow junior talent through mentoring, partnership, and technical reviews.

• Maintain existing ServiceNow certifications and obtain additional certifications to continuously improve your capabilities and our processes.

• Other duties as needed to meet customer expectations.

What You Will Need :

• 7+ years of enterprise software development experience

• 5+ years of experience in administering, configuring and developing on the ServiceNow platform with at least ServiceNow Implementation Developer certification (or willing to obtain promptly).

• Experience in ServiceNow Low-code Development.

• Web technologies experience including: HTML, CSS, Glide Script JavaScript, AngularJS, JSON, XML, and REST.

• Integration Hub and customization of Spokes

• Web Service API publishing and consumption

• Agile software development lifecycle and testing methodologies leveraging ServiceNow Agile, SAFE and/or Jira

• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain Public Trust.

• All work must be done in the United States.

• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

• Certifications; ServiceNow Architect, and any other related Certifications.

• Experience working with ServiceNow CSM/ITSM/ITOM/HR/ITBM/PPM/SecOps solutions in an enterprise environment.
