PSSI Account Manager in Traveling Role - In, Oh, Mi, Indiana

This is a traveling position that is responsible for an assigned territory which includes food processing plants in a set region.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Effective management of existing customer accounts and the generation of new accounts?

  • Work within FDA and USDA food processing and manufacturing facilities and be available during various production shifts?

  • Provide and keep track of written service reports?

  • Generate new leads and profitable business opportunities through collaboration with both external and internal business partners and converting to clients through following up by phone, email, and personal visits?

  • Establish strategic and joint partnerships within your accounts?

  • Identify customer needs/pain points and then work internally to apply the applicable PCI/Safe Foods solutions to create value-added benefits for the customer?

  • Give sales presentations, perform application training, troubleshoot equipment, and train customers on the correct SOP for their processes?

  • Monitor customer sales performance against budget and financial expectations; be prepared to offer insight as to the increase/decrease of sales in assigned territory.?

YOUR MUST HAVES:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (“GED”)?

  • Proficient computer skills associated with Microsoft Office and basic skills required to learn new programs?

  • A valid driver’s license?

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s Degree?

  • Work experience or education in Food & RTE Processing Operations, Quality Assurance, or Sanitation?

  • Previous sales experience in the Food, Beverage, Dairy, and RTE industry?

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position is a remote position in your professional home office with frequent travel to food production facilities throughout your assigned territory. Use of Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) is required in facilities and may consist of but is not limited to safety glasses, hard hat, steel toed boots, etc.
