About the Role

As a part of the global Core Technologies team , you will have the opportunity to develop and build new electric powertrain technologies . There will be no routine and business as usual here - there is room for personal development and your active contribution . In this role, you will act as an important global key player , focus primarily on the topic of power modules and be responsible for the following tasks:

Your Responsibilities

  • Technical lead role of the Core Technology Platform Programs (CTP)

  • Align & evolve CT with global market expectations and globally align key functions across all functions/customers

  • Lateral leadership of the cross-functional simultaneous engineering team

  • Ensure profitability of platform business cases

  • Ongoing global coordination with other relevant Core Technologies & Building Blocks to ensure flawless functionality and smooth launch of the system

  • Ensure Core Technology meets customer roadmap requirements and is a best-fit solution for the Magna Powertrain product portfolio

  • Interface with global cross-functional development teams

  • Contact with sales and end customers as needed

Who we are looking for

  • First experience in lateral leadership of cross-functional teams , as well as in global cooperation

  • Experience in electronics developmen t and/or semiconductor industry is an advantage

  • Good knowledge in business administration, production and contract management

  • Socially and interculturally competent personality with strategic and visionary mindset

  • Solution-oriented personality with analytical and goal-oriented way of working

  • Strong communication skills in English, German language skills advantageous

Your preferred qualifications

  • Successful graduation of a technical education (FH/TU) with focus on electrical or mechanical engineering

  • Several years of professional experience in the international automotive environment
