The Centers for Advance ENT Care Practice Manager in Towson, Maryland

Centers for Advanced ENT Care is looking for an experienced Practice Manager to handle the day-to-day operations, including supervising staff, paying bills, overseeing employee timekeeping records, working with external partners such as accountants/lawyers/insurance providers, and working with the corporate office and the division's physicians on overall business health. This division has three (3) locations with the primary location located in Towson, MD. We are looking for a leader that enjoys the day-to-day challenges, implementing corporate workflows and processes, and creating a team-inclusive environment. The Practice Manager is intricate in the leadership of the division and provides insight and direction for the physicians.

Practice Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee medical service activities for the offices in the division.

  • Supervise and lead office staff, including payroll and HR.

  • Implement office policies and procedures set forth by the corporate office.

  • Supervise, review, and coordinate patient/physician schedules.

  • Work with the corporate office and outside vendors

  • Oversee the purchasing of medical and office supplies for the division's office locations.

  • Oversee and ensure the corporate policies are followed for all paperwork for patient care, medical compliance, and all levels of reporting.

  • Interface with corporate and 3rd party companies regarding payer issues and contracts

  • Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local laws, rules and regulations.

  • Learn and use E Clinical Works practice (ECW) management/EHR systems.

Practice Manager Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Medical Office Manager

  • Experience managing staff in a private medical practice

  • Hands-on experience with administrative operations and HR

  • Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, required

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Excellent service excellence skills
