Job Title: Cook

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes. You will work at various stations, including burgers, fry station, and salad station. Candidates from fast food backgrounds are encouraged to apply. If you have the ability to read and cook recipes, you will be utilized for those tasks as well.

Hard Skills

• Cooking and preparing a variety of food

• Setting up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment

• Measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items

• Safely using a variety of utensils including knives

• Operating equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers

• Baking, roasting, broiling, steaming, and other cooking methods

• Arranging, garnishing, and portioning food

• Adhering to food safety policies and procedures

• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils

Soft Skills

• Maintaining excellent customer service

• Positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, and co-workers

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Towson, Maryland.
