The Job:

As an Industrial Vertical CFO, you’ll be part of our Finance team working as a hybrid employee. You’ll get to:

• Partner with the SEF CFO, Industrial Vertical Business Leader, the Global Supply Chain team, and the broader Finance function to develop and execute strategies to accelerate value creation to deliver sustainable market share gains, sequential margin progression, and cash generation

• Lead, quality assure, and improve the efficiency of strategic planning, annual financial planning, investment analyses, forecasting, reporting, and any other analytics required to execute strategic priorities, allocate resources or optimize the capability & efficiency of the Industrial Vertical

• Research revenue opportunities aligned with latest economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas to deliver sustainable, profitable growth

• Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making around customer, product, inventory, and capital investments that deliver sustainable cost and cash improvement

• Build and leverage effective relationships within the SEF organization and the broader SBD organization that contribute to the advancement of the Industrial Vertical mission

• Access, hire, retain, and mentor financial talent and develop a human capital plan within the financial organization that is in line with SBD’s and the Industrial Vertical’s strategic plan for growth

The Person:

• 10+ years’ progressive finance experience across sales, marketing, and supply chain

• Strong understanding, insight, and sense of passion for the Company’s objectives; thrives on change, pace, action, and accountability; constructive change agent and value creator

• BS required; MBA preferred; quantitative, economic, and/or scientific education preferred

• Well-developed Finance competencies, as well as Commercial and Supply Chain Management experience.

• High level of personal integrity, ethics, initiative, and strong interpersonal skills, confident and energetic persona and a highly effective communicator

• Change leadership; hands-on; “roll up the sleeves and get it done” mentality

• The ability to consult and advise business leaders and managers on a range of issues, with specific competency on corporate financial matters

• Able to establish a constructive and informative relationship with employees, management, executives, and external resources

• Investment analysis, risk management, venture investing or M&A skills, with deal experience from initial diligence through integration
