Ute Mountain Ute Tribe Adult Education Coordinator For Higher Education in Towaoc, Colorado
Summary
Education professional to provide qualified, innovated instruction in adult basic/secondary education, with a mature understanding of adult learner populations and their needs. Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed, capable of demonstrating quality work, managing adults and inter-department input and proficient in digital technologies. Provides GED/Hi-Set preparation and registration. TABE Test Assessment, learner surveys, and AEFLA-style documentation and records management. Lead Teacher for the Ute Mountain Learning Center Adult-education projects-both groups and one-on-one tutoring-include digital literacy, curriculum library, job skills and college-remedial trainings. Prefer Applicants with experience working with Native American clients, plus familiarity with Family Literacy, Special Needs, and/or At-risk Learner programs.
Minimum Qualification:
High School/ Equivalent
Willing to obtain a Background check
Bachelor's degree in education, Humanities, or related field
Minimum two (2) year of past working experience with at-risk population or in related domain
CPR/ First Aid certified
Driver's license and insurable with the Ute Tribe
