This position is responsible for leading the master scheduling, materials planning, customs & logistics and warehouse teams as well as driving improvements in planning and operational processes; analyze forecasts and inventory changes; provide accurate and timely information to ensure customer requirements are met and production resources are properly optimized.
Duties & Responsibilities
Oversee scheduling, planning, and inventory for the production department
Perform Risk Analysis and Risk Planning on the schedule when necessary.
Provides leadership coaching/mentoring to accelerate transition to new roles and to develop leadership capabilities and enhance impact in areas that include strategy execution, managing change, organization etc.
Work with management to resolve obstacles, evaluate risks, and recommend solutions.
Review, guide, assist,and drive as necessary all master scheduling, materials planning, customs & logistics and warehousemanagement.
Implement operating procedures, and/or provide technical information to the greater team.
Use ERP System to forecast production demand, manage customer forecast, safety stock requirements, and maintain desired inventory levels
Oversee the process of expediting orders and escalation when materials will impact schedule
Monitor slow moving inventory and obsolescence and drive improvements to achieve inventory goals and reduce obsolescence
Establish goals and objectives for each engineering management with regular reviews and performance appraisal.
Work with manufacturing, maintenance, and support departments to improve production efficiencies
Balance current and future customer demand requirements with manufacturing and supplier capabilities.
Serve as the capacity-planning expert on cross-functional production and project teams.
Tools you must bring with you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
+8 years of experience in Supply Chain, Materials Operations and Warehouse Management.
Demonstrated experience in using MS Office suite products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledge in the following fields:
