Academic requirements:

Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Process, or related career.

Qualifications & Knowledge:

• Management of new manufacturing processes.

• Office package management (Excel, Word, Power Point).

• Resource management of manufacturing systems.

• Advanced handling of CAD software.

• Extensive technical knowledge.

• Advanced knowledge of ERP systems.

• Knowledge of Core Tools.

• Advanced handling of PML management system.

• Launching of new products.

General Objective

The AME engineer must manage the manufacturing projects of new products in a concise, clear, on time and with quality, as well as support the different manufacturing topics and new process technologies, the communication with the different work teams must be clear, effective and collaborative.

8.0 Duties & Responsibilities

• Participate in New Product Introduction meetings as a manufacturing representative.

• Management and supervision of manufacturing processes.

• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes.

• Develop manufacturing processes for new products.

• Ensure product design and develop quality processes.

• Provide information for manufacturing decision making.

• Maintain technical and professional knowledge.

• Supporting health and safety, ergonomics, environmental, building and quality issues.

• Cost center management and expense reduction.

• Generation of quotation requisitions for manufacturing projects.

• Assist in the transfer of new products.
