Job Title: RF Field Engineer

Job Description

The RF Engineer plays an essential role in understanding customer needs, translating them into requirements, and formulating affordable solutions. This position works closely with the customer and engineering staff to provide a solution with the best value for the customer. The successful candidate will be required to coordinate multi-disciplined teams in a consolidated effort to successfully support systems for microwave measurement of various test items such as antennas and radomes for radar, communications, satellite data transfer, and other applications.

Hard Skills

• 7-10 years relevant RF experience

• Willing to travel 80% after 3-6 months of training

• Technical BS degree (BSEE, BS Computer Sci, etc.) OR 4+ years of relevant Military experience

• Relevant Industries: Defense, Aviation/Aerospace, Space

• Relevant Job Titles: RF Engineer, RF Tech, RF Test Engineer, RF Field Engineer/Tech, Electrical Engineer

• Relevant Tools: oscilloscope, network analyzer, power meter, spectrum analyzer

• Strong understanding of RF theory and principles

• Willing to submit to Drug / back check and obtain a US Gov't Security Clearance

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Torrance, California.

Work Environment

Travel 30-40% to client sites
