Licensed Practical Nurse - LVN - Home Health

We are hiring for a full time position with one of our most valued clients in the LA area! This is a highly reputable, well-established client. Ideal candidates are local, have an active California LVN certification, and a minimum of 6 months of recent experience as an LVN. If you are comfortable working in a home-health position and driving a company vehicle, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Pay Rates:

$1,440 - $1,520 / Weekly Gross

$36 - $38 / Hourly

40 hours / Week

MORE ABOUT THE LVN POSITION:

• Ability to work with other personnel and develop/maintain good relations

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of nursing care and current clinical practice, treatments and interventions, specific to position specialty.

• Ability to understand and monitor applicable regulations, policies and procedures.

• Promote patient's independence by establishing patient care goals.

• Resolve patient problems and needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with rules and regulations.

• Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.

• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, students, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public, according to position setting.

• Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.

• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

• Demonstrate proficiency in written/verbal skills in English language

• Sufficient computer skills required to perform duties.

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LVN:

• LVN License

• Phlebotomy experience required

• Excellent verbal communication skills

• BLS with American Heart Association

• Valid CA Driver's License and acceptable driving record

• Patient bedside experience preferred (preferred but not required)

• Ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs

• Spanish speaking (preferred but not required)

• Must be comfortable driving and making home health visits independently
