Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Junior Financial Analyst to join our team in the automotive industry. The position is based in Torrance, California. The role involves supporting the Financial Planning and Analysis department with budget compilation, system uploads, and various financial analyses.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the compilation and consolidation of budgets across various departments

• Upload financial data into relevant systems ensuring accuracy

• Conduct financial analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports and dashboards

• Collaborate with team members and other departments to gather necessary information for budget preparation

• Provide support in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks as needed

• Utilize accounting software systems for efficient and accurate financial management

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as part of accounting functions

• Use Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools for financial analysis and reporting

• Leverage skills in CL Programming and IBM AS/400 for efficient financial data management and analysis. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Acomba software

• Knowledge of Cl Programming

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficient with IBM AS/400 software

• Ability to use About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Skill in Check Processing

• Entry-level financial analyst experience in the automotive industry is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
