Description

Robert Half is seeking a DevOps Engineer.

This role is a long-term, multiyear contract employment opportunity with an exciting, technically progressive client based in the Torrance, California area.

Hybrid work from home role with 1-2 days/week in office.

Requirements

Must have

• 3+ years strong DevOps experience, design and developing CI/CD pipelines for hybrid and Cloud based Infrastructure.

• Strong experience with automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.

• Experience in building pipelines with AWS (basic services such EC2, S3, Lambda, CFT, CLI, etc.)

• Experience with automated application build and support using Maven, Gradle, Ant or other tools

• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.

• Experience leading DevOps practices and processes in a large-scale environment

• Basic Linux and Windows administration, networking skills

• Experience in configuring and setting up various application server environments

• Troubleshoot and debug build Issues, resolve problems

• Interest and ability to learn other technologies and tools as needed

Nice to have

• On-hands experience with various tools, Bash/ Shell, PowerShell, Groovy & Phyton Scripting etc.

• Setting for CI/CD pipelines for Mobile Apps

• knowledge of open-source platforms (Apache, Tomcat, NodeJS etc.)
