Description Robert Half is looking for a CFO to join our client! The ideal CFO will have excellent analytical, strategic-planning, operational and communication skills, including an ability to work well with the CEO, board members and other senior executives. A combination of industry and public accounting experience is highly valued. This is the perfect role for an experience CFO looking for a challenging role at an established company.

Your responsibilities in this role

• Govern accounting policies, procedures and internal controls

• Own vendor relationships

• Own process improvement for the integrity of a company's financial information

• Manage upgrades and implementations for financial systems

• Enforce staff compliance with company policies and state and federal laws

• Analyze cash flow as it relates to the organization's operations

• Hire, train and retain finance and accounting staff

• Supervise all finance personnel

• Provide strategic management of the accounting and finance functions

• Recognize and control insurance requirements and business risks

• Develop and maintain relationships with investment institutions and investors

• Manage the relationship with independent auditors Requirements

• Expert Microsoft Excel skills required

• 5+ years' management experience

• Public accounting experience a plus

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

• MBA, CPA, CGMA Big 4 or CMA preferred

• Excellent leadership and organizational skills

• 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

• Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Strong knowledge of Project Accounting, EAC, etc.
