Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Owner to join a leading financial institution in Toronto, ON on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics and visualization, with specific expertise in Alteryx and Tableau. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of data solutions that meet the needs of the enterprise. You will define and communicate the product vision and strategy for Alteryx and Tableau solutions, and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with business goals. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the vision of the product, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers high-quality features that meet user needs and business goals. This PO requires technical knowledge of the platform on the front and back-end, as well as proficiency in data tools like Alteryx and tableau, in order to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders more effectively.

Deliverables:

• Work closely with front-end and back-end developers to understand technical constraints and opportunities.

• Understand Alteryx for data blending, preparation, and advanced analytics.

• Ensure data-driven decision-making by integrating insights from data analysis into the product development process.

• Facilitate technical discussions and ensure that the team has a clear understanding of the requirements.

-Present to stakeholders, gather feedback, and iterate on the design.

Skills and Requirements

-3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar role, with a focus on data analytics and visualization

-Proficiency in Alteryx and Tableau, with a strong understanding of data preparation, analysis, and visualization techniques

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

-Experience working in Agile environments

-Previous experience working at a financial institution -Databricks experience

-Relevant Alteryx and/or Tableau certifications

-Experience with Power BI, SAS null
