Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer to join a large global technology client onsite in Toronto. For this position, we are looking for a strong Software Engineer with at least three years of experience and a strong track record of building end-to-end applications with Python. The successful candidate will have the ability to design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distributions.

Skills and Requirements

Master's or PhD degree in computer science or related field.

 3+ years of experience with Python, developing reliable and maintainable software systems.

 3+ years of experience utilizing general software engineering skills, including debugging, version control, logging, documentation, code review, etc.

 Basic proficiency in frontend development (e.g. user interfaces, single-page applications, markup language).

 Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with large language models (LLM) and generative AI.

 Experience with machine learning and deep learning.

 Experience with augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR).

 Experience with Unity and C#.

 Experience in a research environment

 Familiarity with the fundamentals of human-computer interactions, design, psychology and cognitive sciences, or related fields. null
