Intuit SEO Marketing Co-op (Summer 2025 - 4 month) in Toronto, Ontario

Overview

Quickbooks Canada is seeking an SEO Intern to accelerate our digital marketing efforts. You will play a vital role in improving our organic search rankings and driving traffic to our website. You will work closely with the SEO Manager to understand our business goals and develop and implement SEO strategies that align with those goals.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic marketing team.

The position is based in Toronto, Ontario but you will work cross functionally with partners located across many of our global sites, including the US, UK & Australia.

What you'll bring

  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business/Stat/Mathematics

  • Basic understanding of SEO concepts, principles and tools preferred (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console)

  • Interest in learning advanced SEO strategies, tools and skills

  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills

  • Strong passion to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment

  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills

  • Ability to ask for help when needed, while taking steps to problem solve independently

How you will lead

  • Work alongside the SEO Manager to provide support in the following areas:

  • Keyword research and analysis

  • Content review and optimizations

  • On-page improvements, including meta tags, headlines

  • Assist with periodic audits to ensure website meets SEO best practices

  • Track, analyze, and report on key SEO metrics, such as keyword rankings, organic traffic, and conversion rates

  • Share results, analysis, opportunities and findings in team meetings

  • Work cross-functionally with content, paid search, UX, and web development teams to deliver on key SEO metrics

  • Participate actively in team events, both on and offsite
