Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Solutions team. This role will partner closely with senior leaders and product teams across AEC solutions driving key organizational and strategic programs in a cross-team fashion across AEC Solutions and Autodesk. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical program management (TPM), exceptional leadership and communication skills, and a passion for contributing to the TPM discipline within the organization. Thriving in this role will require a blend of technical expertise, business acumen and a strong capacity to build and develop relationships across different teams and organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with product and technical leadership teams to build clear delivery plans and operating models.
Manage program/project scope, milestones, plan, and regular project status dashboards, ensuring excellent communications are maintained.
Plan, organize and facilitate in person and virtual meetings, including agendas, action items and other communications
Consistently demonstrate excellent judgment, anticipate bottlenecks, lead escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints
Manage risks: drive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation to address potential roadblocks, in partnership with leadership
Update and communicate program progress across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributors to senior executive using presentations, written documents, SharePoint, Confluence, Slack, Miro and other mechanisms
Support the AEC Solutions program management on strategic topics as needed
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years in a Technical Program Manager capacity or similar role in technology, computer software or related industry, with a bachelor’s degree
Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects
Strong skills in planning, prioritization, and project management
Proficient in data-driven evaluation, decision-making, driving and facilitating decision-making processes, and reporting
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively, build rapport with, and influence a wide variety of internal stakeholders and business partners
Positive and self-motivated; takes initiative and anticipates next steps
Ability to operate in matrixed and ambiguous environments, influencing without authority
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Deep understanding of program management methodologies, tools, and best practices
Demonstrable knowledge of systems/cloud services and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Fluency in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Waterfall and other methodologies
Fluency in Slack, Confluence, Jira, Miro, M365 and Airtable

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $129,900 and $210,100. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $119,600 and $164,450. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
