Intuit Senior Tax Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

Overview

Come join the Intuit Tax Development team as a Senior Tax Content Analyst (Bilingual) working with our team that creates standards, compliance requirements and innovative solutions for thousands of our Live Tax Experts working on our TurboTax Live experiences.

What you'll bring

  • Business Tax experience

  • Fluency in English and French

  • Experience with Quebec tax filings

  • Comprehensive understanding and use of software best practices

  • Technical expertise used to mentor and coach junior TA’s

  • Proficient in multiple tax domains

  • Communicate technical information at the appropriate level within the organization

  • Proficient at interpreting and communicating the most complex tax issues, as well as assessing the impact to developers and customers

  • Continually assess and drive process and tool improvements for customers and experts

  • Able to effectively prioritize individual and team work to ensure delivery of the highest customer value

How you will lead

  • Research, analysis and documentation of Tax issues and compliance requirements of high-to-highest complexity and diverse breadth Evaluate product features and enhancements, possibly in the form of offering roadmaps, epics and stories (done in partnership with the business)

  • Coordination and/or prioritization of activities across team and community leading to successful project completion. This can take the form of groomed backlogs and acceptance criteria

  • Develops standards for technical requirements of the tax content

  • Documented best practices that the Senior TA has ensured are broadly used and properly applied

  • Estimates and sequencing of team activities as inputs to projects plans and sprint planning

  • Innovative solutions to tax-related problems and compliance

  • Strategic analysis of tax issues and opportunities, with broad business impact
