You will join an innovative and passionate team of engineers using cutting edge technologies like Generative AI, React, Go, Kubernetes, AWS Services, Karate, Observability tooling etc

We are looking for an engineer with a strong background in both front-end web technologies (React) and back-end leveraging (Go). You will be working on end-to-end features and services that enhance the product set and delight our customers. The engineer should have genuine interest in all software technology and will be directly responsible for design, development, testing, maintenance, and documentation of high quality software components. The successful candidate will have a history of implementing software for highly available and durable cloud native platforms

What you'll bring

• BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

• Self-starter with strong work ethic with a passion for problem-solving

• 5+ years of experience developing web applications

• 4+ years of experience with Go (Preferred) and React JS framework.

• 3+ years of experience with REST/GRPC (consuming and creating)

• Strong Experience with AWS Cloud services like S3, Lambda, EC2, Fargate, SQS, SNS etc

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions like Splunk , Wavefront, Prometheus, Open telemetry etc

• Experience with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)

• Experience writing integration and functional tests using frameworks like Karate

• Mastery of collaborative software development using GitHub

• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies

• Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

• Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process

• Experience with Devops practice and familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker

• Experience with Langchain and Prompt Engineering a strong plus

• Scripting experience in Python a plus

• Hybrid role (2/3 days a week in office)

How you will lead

• Strong understanding of the Software design/architecture process.

• Designing/developing web-based applications and backend services.

• Gathering functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning.

• Experience with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD).

• Demonstrate ownership and operational excellence mindset by being part of on-call rotation for incidents as well as participating in production incident and root cause analysis.

• Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: Various product lines, or business units to drive forward results.

• Stay aware of industry trends and make technology choices and strategic decisions

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
