Amazon Senior Product Manager, Canada Business Planning Lead, Project Kuiper in Toronto, Ontario

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.

The Project Kuiper Canada Consumer team is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to lead business planning. This role is responsible for leading annual operating plans, quarterly guidance, monthly business outlook (risks/opportunities), monthly goal reviews, and weekly business reviews. You will lead high visibility workstreams and work cross-functionally with GTM, Demand Generation, Lifecycle Management, Sales, Product, Operations, Demand and Capacity Planning, Finance, and Business Intelligence teams to develop and execute on multi-year business plans. This is a high visibility role with frequent opportunities to interact with and present to leadership. A successful candidate will have strong business acumen, highly analytical, and able to work extremely effectively in a matrixed organization. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment—all while ensuring we’re thinking long-term and building a sustainable business.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead development of annual operating plans (e.g. OP1 and OP2), working cross-functionally to align partner teams on subscriber, revenue, fixed and variable costs, and profit targets for Canada

  • Drive quarterly guidance process by analyzing trends, preparing performance summaries, and providing revised projections with recommended adjustments based on actualized business performance

  • Manage monthly business outlook by assessing key risks and opportunities, evaluating business and category conditions, and recommending mitigation strategies and corrective actions

  • Oversee monthly goal reviews by tracking KPI progress, coordinating stakeholder reviews, and communicating achievement status to leadership

  • Coordinate weekly business reviews through performance updates, operational metric monitoring, and cross-functional team coordination

  • Publish comprehensive competitive intelligence analyses to country leadership on category dynamics, competitor strategies, and industry trends for key stakeholders

  • Partner with operations teams to optimize in-stock management, ensuring inventory alignment with forecasts and maintaining service level targets

Export Control Requirement:

This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 5+ years of experience in product or program management, business planning, or data analytics

  • Experience with forecasting and working with large data sets

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workloads, while maintaining high attention to detail

  • Process-oriented mindset and ability to lead, problem solve, and get things done

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business or Economics

  • Track record of driving results through continuous improvement

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in ambiguous situations
