Department Overview

Markets Risk Management ("MRM") is accountable for supporting TD Securities ("TDS") and Treasury & Balance Sheet Management ("TBSM") business objectives in accordance with TD’s risk appetite and regulatory expectations. MRM provides independent oversight of enterprise-wide liquidity risks ensuring all significant risks are appropriately measured, reported, analyzed and transparent.

The Opportunity In this role as a Senior Liquidity Risk Analyst, you will be part of a growing area that is responsible for second-line governance and challenge for Liquidity Risk reporting processes. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with several business partners including TBSM, Enterprise and US Market Risk, ORM and Technology. You will play a meaningful role in establishing effective second-line governance for Liquidity Risk reporting.

What You'll Do

· Perform second line oversight governance for both management and regulatory liquidity risk reporting.

· Review business analysis for fluctuations in liquidity risk metrics to ensure movements are well understood and monitored against established thresholds.

· Facilitate governance review meetings to provide effective challenge on reporting, reconciliations, and business driver analysis.

· Collaborate with our business partners to help meet changes to liquidity reporting, new products, or other business requirements.

· Prepare management presentations to provide updates on governance and issue resolution plans.

· Support Enterprise Liquidity Risk and US Market Risk with the Independent Liquidity Evaluation program.

· Second-line oversight over data, infrastructure, models, processes, and procedures related to Liquidity risk metrics.

· Escalation of issues through Issues Management framework, as required.

· Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects, as requested.

Job Requirements

What You'll Need

· Undergraduate or graduate degree in Risk Management, Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance.

· Knowledge of financial instruments, regulations, and liquidity risk metrics, gained through academic study, or practical experience.

· Proficient with Microsoft applications. VBA and SQL skills are an asset.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Good understanding of risk management, governance compliance and controls practices.

· Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.

· Independent thinker who takes initiative to capitalize on opportunities and achieve efficiencies.

· Strong ability to work cross-functionally, handle ambiguities, and deliver on tight deadlines.

· Self-motivated, well organized, and brings a positive attitude.
