Reporting to the Director, Finance Cost Optimization, the successful candidate will oversee the execution of the business decision support function in the Wireless business. In addition, the candidate will also be responsible for supporting the Finance management and execution of the Consumer Wireless Capital program. The candidate must effectively deploy resources to support purposeful business decisions, grounded in thorough financial assessment. Additionally, the candidate must have strong communication skills to articulate financial models to senior leadership and play a guiding role in steering and influencing decisions.

What you'll do:

• Oversee the execution of business case financial modeling in support of the Wireless business; including, but not limited to Pricing, Marketing, Channel distribution, and Wireless channel compensation related decisions

• Manage business case inflow and governance framework within existing decision forums, including Consumer Steerco, Opco, and Channel decision approval meetings

• Lead and develop a team of Finance professionals with acute business expertise, forming the cornerstone of business operational finance decisions

• Continuous partnering with cross-functional business primes to critically evaluate assumptions, risk and opportunities within business cases

• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and refinement of business case models; ensuring updated data inputs to reflect the latest business and market dynamics

• Develop and maintain a system of tracking business case initiatives, post-implementation-reviews, and ad-hoc projects

• Facilitate successful Finance support of the Consumer Wireless capital program, including supporting the materials and discussions in Capital decision forums, monthly forecasting and month-end close process

• Ensure communication and alignment of business decision expectations and KPIs with latest financial forecasts and outlooks

• Ad-hoc as required

What you'll bring:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)

• 5-10 years experience in relevant Operating Finance roles, Wireless / Telecom background preferred

• High level of attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills

• Proven record of successfully leading a team, with measurable achievements and outcomes

• An accounting designation completed or in progress preferred

• Advanced skills in Excel and other MS Office applications a requirement

• Demonstrated time management skills, including the ability to multi-task

• Ability to work under pressure in a complex fast-paced environment

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days in office work best for you!
