Canadian Tire Replenishment Support Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

What You'll Do

The Replenishment Process Analyst develops, automates, and supports replenishment processes and reporting to merchandising decisions for replenishment. The Replenishment Process Analyst will drive replenishment insights through data from multiple order management systems, build/optimize tools that are used by Replenishment Analysts and Replenishment Managers, and design/publish actionable reporting on key business metrics. You will play a key role in strengthening Canadian Tire’s replenishment capabilities, while continuing to support the business with established processes

  • Provide actionable business insights to Replenishment and Merchandising teams to achieve operational goals such as replenishment fill rate, OMSL targets and inventory targets

  • Support and take initiative on the continuous improvement of replenishment processes, reporting and streamlined decision making for the Replenishment and Merchandising teams

  • Manage multiple projects and requests, prioritizing tasks ranging from long term builds to adhoc analytical needs

  • Use analytical tools and programing languages such as Knime, SQL, R and Python to automate new and established business reporting and processes.

  • Ensure business processes and EUC tools are operational

  • Act as a subject matter expert for Replenishment processes and educate Replenishment and cross-functional teams on the subject matter

What You Bring

The dynamic environment requires individuals with a cross functional background, excellent organizational skills, excellent data processing/automating skills, advanced analytical ability, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

  • 4+ years work experience in various roles within replenishment, analytics, merchandising or supply chain.

  • University degree in engineering, math, logistics, business or related field

  • Experienced in managing/supporting key performance metrics and processes for Replenishment

  • Proficiency with programming in Python, R and SQL. Knowledge of Cloud data processing would also be an asset.

  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Access.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and information streamlining skills with the ability to summarize and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.

  • Results-oriented, with proven time management skills (planning, prioritizing, executing, and tracking). • Business mindset with an understanding of retail and logistics.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, educate, influence, and motivate peers as well as others without direct authority.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities.
