The role is in the Platform Organization within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions division. This team defines and builds the software platform the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon.

Autodesk is looking for a QA Engineer to join our team developing interactive 3D applications and frameworks and across desktop, mobile and web platforms in our platform organization.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about building very innovative 3D applications that capture the imagination of users designing for real world objects and creations. These applications are aimed at the broad eco-system of designers and manufacturers creating the objects we work with and interact with in our day to day lives.

As a member of our team, you will have a huge impact on how we design, build and deliver our products and on multiple platforms (desktop, mobile and web). As a QA Engineer, you will be primary responsible for end to end testing of applications, creating testing tools and test automations to be used by our team working on state of the art products and technologies on Windows, Mac, iOS and web platforms.

Location: Toronto, Canada

Responsibilities

· End to end testing of highly interactive applications on desktop, mobile and web.

· Work with developers to create acceptance tests for new features.

· Provide documented test plans for ongoing work.

• Develop and add automated functional and regression tests in a test framework.

• Ability to handle short sprint cycles (2-4 weeks) and experience in the full software lifecycle from design to deployment.

• Investigate failed automation tests and report issues in bug tracking system as appropriate.

· Stay abreast of state-of-the-art best practices and tools used in testing frameworks.

· Provide regular update about new functionality in the testing system to the broader team

· Be an advocate of high quality of the products you work on

Minimum Qualifications

· Experience in testing complex interactive applications on desktop, mobile and web.

· Experience building test plans for ongoing development of features in applications.

• Knowledge of QA processes, QA Automation and reports required.

• Keen interest in new technologies and adopt them quickly

· Open to new challenges and ready to extend knowledge outside of current area of expertise.

Good to Have

· Experience in testing 3D applications for modeling and visualization a major plus.

· Experience with interactive 3D graphics applications like CAD (Fusion, Inventor, AutoCAD, Solidworks etc.) is beneficial.

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location.
