Job Description

The TDS Data, Delivery & Integration (DDI) group enables efficient and effective program delivery of the dealer's major, cross-functional initiatives. We're an innovator and leader in the change management space. The TDS Cash Equities Delivery Team will be a new team within TDS Data, Delivery and Integration department and will serve as a centralized function for managing the intake, assessment, prioritization, planning, and implementation processes surrounding the TDS Equities Business.

The TDS Cash Equities Delivery Team will partner closely with stakeholder groups from across the organization including (but not limited to) Operations, Compliance, Technology, Market Risk to drive and deliver on initiatives that specifically impact the TDS Equities Business.

The Project Manager and/or Business Analyst, will report into the Senior Delivery Manager/Project Delivery Lead and will lead the implementation of various initiatives in the Equities space using an end-to-end lens towards delivery and integration. Additional job details are summarized below:

  • Lead and manage and track various stages of the delivery cycle, from intake and prioritization, to analysis, requirement clarification, planning, testing and production implementation.

  • Provide timely and effective communication on project/initiative status, analyses, and findings to senior stakeholders.

  • Can influence partners toward solutions while ensuring appropriate transparency, reporting and escalation.

  • Understand and manage cross-stream interdependencies.

  • Scrum Facilitation (acting ScrumMaster on projects when required),

  • Provide support in alleviating roadblocks throughout all stages of delivery.

  • Assist in formulating recommendations regarding delivery approach after consultation with key stakeholder groups on estimated effort, resource availability, cross-program dependencies, and other implementation constraints.

  • Escalating issues and impediments accordingly to effectively drive delivery.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experiences

  • 5+ years relevant experience in project delivery in Capital Markets

  • Facilitates project execution through Rapid, TD Agile, and Waterfall delivery approaches as appropriate.

  • Accountable for key delivery decisions and aligning technology and business objectives into a shared delivery vision.

  • Supports the Executive Sponsor and Business Owner in structuring and securing approval for business case and funding.

  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), including ability to formulate impactful methods of communication.

  • Establishes program governance structures for effective delivery orchestration, meeting TD's governance control objectives.

  • Experienced with project delivery success, preferably in Capital Markets related initiatives.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and principles of project management including strong working knowledge of delivery methodology and collaboration tools including JIRA and Confluence and using Agile approaches.

  • Experience with project delivery/scrum coaching through leading streams and/or representing a business in a large program.

  • Exposure to financial management with respect to tracking, forecasting, and managing project budgets.

  • Strong leadership skills lead by example, champion change, and develop a highly motivated team to consistently exceed expectations.

  • Ability to make an impact, influence and achieve results with effective negotiation, problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Strong inter-personal skills including conflict resolution, influencing and negotiation.

  • Team player with ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

  • Excellent organizational skills (ability to employ systematic approach for identifying and tracking dependencies, ensuring proper resolution of outstanding items, and structuring meetings/discussions).

  • Familiarity with one or more of the following functional areas: Operations, technology, risk management, quantitative analytics, or business management is highly desired.

  • Familiarity with a variety of financial product types/asset classes acquired through previous tenure in a capital markets role is highly desired.

Specific Education Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM or CSP designation an asset

  • Certified Agile Coach or Scrum Master is an asset.
