This position is moving to OPG Corporate Headquarters: In Summer 2025, OPG will officially welcome employees to our new Corporate Headquarters located at 1908 Colonel Sam Drive, Oshawa, Ontario. This new space will enable teamwork, collaboration and innovation that will help us to achieve our mission to electrify life in one generation . This position will be temporarily based in Toronto, ON until the move to Headquarters in the Summer of 2025.
JOB OVERVIEW
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Production Specialist, Brand Management.
Reporting to the Manager, Creative & Design Services, the Production Specialist is responsible for coordinating the development, production, and distribution of creative assets needed to support internal and external marketing efforts across digital, web, social media, print, video, CRM and events.
Key accountabilities include liaising with OPG clients and vendors to define project requirements, developing project timelines and budgets, and assigning and monitoring internal resources and/or engaging external creative partners to deliver high quality creative assets within scope, schedule and budget.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Liaise with managers, internal clients, and vendors to define project scopes and deliverables that align with project goals.
Develop project timelines and budgets to meet project requirements.
Develop and maintain resourcing plans for all OPG creative studio staff and external partners to support department projects.
Assign and monitor creative resources effectively to best meet the objectives of the project.
Manage project timelines, budgets, identifying risks and opportunities for efficiency.
Develop and maintain project management database (Airtable) tracking overall project progress and achievement of milestones.
Make recommendations to Manager on the feasibility of performing the work using OPG staff or by tendering the work to external creative partners.
Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope or timeline to achieve results.
Build and manage collaborative relationships with relevant business stakeholders; ensure transparency of project risks and outcomes and escalate issues where necessary.
Develop and manage relationships with external creative partners and vendors.
Identify service gaps and identify new creative partners where required.
Monitor and maintain graphic budget and provide monthly analytics to Manager and Senior Manager, Brand Management.
Monitor internal customer satisfaction with project delivery process and provide recommendations for improvement to Brand Management leadership.
Manage the collection and storage of digital project files.
Coordinate shipping and delivery of creative assets.
Manage storage of A/V equipment and promotional material including maintenance of digital inventory records.
Manage OPG’s Digital Asset Management System, uploading files and maintaining the accuracy of the database.
Other Duties as Required
EDUCATION
- 4-year university degree in a related field, such as communications, marketing, or advertising
QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a flexible hybrid office environment
A minimum of 6 years of relatable post secondary working experience
Experience managing design and production-oriented resources with a disciplined approach to project delivery, time management skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience with project management or digital asset management systems and tools.
Requires working knowledge of software such as Microsoft Projects or other equivalent timeline management programs, Excel, and Adobe Suite.
