Insight Global Market Risk & Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst in Toronto, Ontario

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Business Analyst to join a top bank in downtown Toronto for a 12-month contract to support Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk. The consultant will be responsible for creating documentation, such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), general reviews, reports to validate and test processes, and business documents regarding processes and policies. The overall mandate for the role is to ensure that there are no gaps in documentation across Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk. A strong understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk is essential for success in the role. The right consultant for this role will also be a strong communicator, good at problem-solving and multi-tasking, organized, and able to manage cross-collaboration and relationships with executives and leaders across multiple groups.

Skills and Requirements

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience (i.e., hands-on experience creating documentation, preferably in the financial industry)

  • Solid knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk & Market Risk (preferably work experience)

  • Experience and ability to code in Python and VBA.

  • University degree in a relevant field (i.e., Economics, Finance, Business)

  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (with key examples)

  • Great at cross-collaboration and communicating with executives and leadership level - Previous work experience in Counterparty Credit Risk and/or Market Risk null
