The Public Sector Global Lead Development Team is expanding! As a Manager of our WWPS team in Canada, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of Public Sector cloud technologies.

The ideal candidate has a passion for technology and a successful track record in public sector technology sales management. This role will be responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a demand generation/inside sales team. Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

• Manage team to attain daily activity metrics of inbound, outbound calls, decision maker contacts, and qualified leads

• Manage team to exceed defined quarterly metrics and service level agreements for customer outreach, lead response and pipeline build.

• Partner with and provide reporting on the team's activities to stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, partners, sales operations, recruiting, and business development.

•. Strong collaboration and communication skills.

• Create a pipeline of candidates for the team.

• Maintain an understanding of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing;

• Train team on prospecting skills

• Develop reps into sales-ready candidates for future sales development positions

• Understand customer business issues and how these issues can be solved with AWS services and resources.

• Represent your business in monthly business reviews

• Define KPIs and mechanisms to measure and drive productivity as needed.

• Ability to travel internationally (US and abroad) as needed

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Experience using data and trends to articulate business needs or equivalent

  • Experience working with a matrixed team of stakeholders to achieve a common goal or equivalent

  • 5+ years of sales management experience (preferably tech)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing time efficiently, meeting personal goals, and working effectively with internal, partner, and customer teams

  • Knowledge of existing and developing technologies as it relates to cloud computing
