Summary

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Process Improvements, and will be a key person for the ongoing support of the planning and forecasting solution. The position will work closely with the Information Technology (IT) and Corporate Planning teams as well as the financial user community.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities include:

  • Lead day-to-day operations and related processes with the other members of the team (including process initialization (forecast, budget) and validations of data loads and extractions to and from SAP systems.

  • Follow set procedures and adapt to any situational changes while meeting operational deadlines.

  • Proactively identify ways to leverage existing BPC models, standardize reporting outputs and extend the use of BPC and BW with our finance user community.

  • Provide day-to-day support, training and education to BPC and BW users while keeping documentation up-to- date.

  • Maintain user access profiles and security attestation.

  • Contribute to the development of standards and policies in the use and maintenance of the system.

  • Contribute to the implementation of new BPC models, including performing activities such as testing.

  • Monitor system backup, process any data recovery, and perform various cleanup and maintenance processes.

  • Problem solving issues and coordinating with IT/CGI infrastructure support team when required.

  • Testing related to projects, or environment changes like windows patches and software upgrades

Critical Qualifications

  • University degree in Management Information Systems, Finance or IT.

  • Analytical, meticulous and conscientious.

  • Strong organizational and planning skills.

  • Fully committed to team success.

  • Great communication skills and desire to share best practices.

  • Can work effectively and take a proactive role with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP's BPC and/or BW Netweaver toolset.

  • Knowledge of the SAP ECC and BW environments and understanding of their relationship with BPC.

  • Knowledge of financial consolidation accounting and/or consolidation systems.

  • Knowledge of Visual Basic.

  • Very good skills with Microsoft Excel.
