Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Manager 3, Software Development to lead a team responsible for creating durable technology capabilities that enhance the TurboTax Canada tax preparation experience. As Manager 3, Software Engineering, you will drive the development of mission-critical services that seamlessly integrate our Canada tax engine with the user experience. What you'll bring

• At least 6 years of engineering management experience, with a proven track record of leading successful software development teams

• Strong technical background, with hands-on experience in software development and architecture

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present complex technical concepts to stakeholders

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment

• Self-motivated attitude, demonstrating extreme ownership with the ability to make decisions independently, and a consistent track record of on-time, high-quality delivery

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate and manage ambiguity

• Experience working with large-scale, high-availability systems in a cloud environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in tax preparation or financial services industry

• Experience working in highly seasonal SaaS companies

• Expertise in building services that integrate with complex engines or platforms
