WSP USA M365 Development & Collaboration Solutions Business Analyst [OneIT] in Toronto, Ontario

This position will be responsible for working with business clients, providing them support of Information Management (IM) solutions, tools and platforms in addition to gathering business requirements and working on key IM projects on behalf of WSP. The successful candidate for this role will engage with clients daily providing support of IM solutions to clients, delivering IM services including implementing solutions and content migrations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing operational support and troubleshooting on IM systems including M365, SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2016

  • Acting as key point of contact for clients and providing support to end users where additional support of IM solutions is required from other technical support teams.

  • Gathering and documenting business requirements, designing and implementing IM solutions for clients using tools such as SharePoint online, Power Automate & MS Forms, Power Apps and Power BI

  • Assisting in the design and creation of SharePoint sites, Team sites and other configuration activities on IM platforms for clients

  • Monitoring development progress and validation of IM solutions before release to the client

  • Helping development teams to find technical solutions and suitable resources to overcome obstacles.

  • Facilitate communication between the client and various IT teams, assisting all parties to explore and evaluate different potential solutions in order to develop practical and effective solutions that satisfy the end users needs.

  • Analyzing client information/content, planning and executing migration of content as required from various sources.

  • Delivering formal and informal training to clients

  • Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement best practices for information management, such as with ITSM team and other IT groups as required for change management, operations management/reporting, ticket escalation and other ITSM processes.

  • Developing and implementing information management policies and procedures.

  • Keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments in information management and making recommendations for improvements.

  • Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with information management policies and procedures.

  • Participating in the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for information management.

Required Qualifications

  • Education requirements; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in IT or Engineering

  • 7+ years’ business analysis experience, mostly in information management or collaboration projects.

  • Experience delivering training, creating training materials and facilitating related communications.

  • Experience with Microsoft cloud-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint or Viva Engage.

  • Experience configuring/deploying/supporting Office 365 Productivity Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

  • Experience with large/complex organizations with multiple business lines

  • Requirements gathering experience.

  • Detailed oriented analysis.

  • Strong documentation skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

Nice to have

  • ITIL knowledge

  • Business relationship management experience

  • Knowledge of information security and data protection best practices.

  • Agile project management skills/knowledge
