Element Fleet Management Full Stack Developer in Toronto, Ontario

What We Need

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will guide a team of developers towards delivering technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our company’s success.

A Day in the Life

  • Leads the development team and take ownership of the source code

  • Orchestrates development across platforms with development team and extended team

  • Collaborates with the solution architect and business stakeholders

  • Ensures the team writes well designed, testable, efficient code

  • Take hands-on coding assignments - Integrates software components into a fully functional software system

  • Tailor and deploy software tools, processes and metrics

  • Comply with project plans and industry standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science or equivalent

  • 5-7 years of development experience

  • Experience in OOAD, cloud computing and agile practices

  • Object oriented analysis and design

  • Proven working experience in Java development

  • Excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (Hibernate)

  • Java/JavaScript/Spring/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud/Vert.x

  • RESTful APIs development

  • Experience working in AWS Cloud technologies is an asset
