Overview
The successful candidate will manage financial analysis for a number of brands, reporting to the Sr. Financial Analyst. Tasks include corporate accounting controls, reporting, budgets, forecasts, financial analyses, client compensation modelling and tracking and WIP, Accrued Revenue and Deferred Income.
Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly financial revenue and overhead report
Analyze and prepare all revenue and overhead accruals
Maintain client compensation chart and review existing financial analysis to evaluate client performance.
Prepare monthly forecasts for all client revenues and overheads.
Collaborate with year-end and mid-year internal auditors
Work with Brand Directors, line of business Management to review actual results and forecasts, and “special” client requests
Various tasks as assigned by the Sr. Financial Analyst
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA not required, but a plus) 3-5 years related corporate accounting experience (media/advertising agency, PR firm, or related industry a strong asset)
Excellent analytical/quantitative skills with great attention to detail Strong interpersonal, written communication and organizational skills.
Strong MS Excel skills required – ability to create and use pivot tables necessary SAP knowledge would be an advantage but not necessary
Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines Highly motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
