Job Description:

TD Enterprise Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy along with information and management support on an enterprise-wide basis for TD Bank Group (TD), consistent with the enterprise risk appetite of TD.

In other words, we're the big-picture people. Our mandate encompasses all the components that keep the entire enterprise moving forward. We look after financial management and regulatory reporting, enterprise strategy and decision support (including financial analysis, planning and forecasting plus performance management). Our team also supports taxation, investor relations, financial control and governance along with the implementation of finance systems and processes.

About the Program

Our Finance and Accounting Associate Rotational Program is an immersive 24-month program designed to help you step into our world of financial management, strategy and processes through financial reporting, forecasting, planning and project assignments. The goal of the program is to develop leaders within the Finance organization.

We’re looking for individuals who have a curiosity for data analysis, an appreciation for the rigors of reporting and forecasting with the tenacity to ensure accuracy and quality.

In this program you’ll rotate across TD Finance corporate groups approximately every six months, which can include:

  • Accounting Policy and Advisory

  • Business Finance Reporting (Wealth, Wholesale, Personal Banking, TD Insurance, Business Banking, etc.)

  • Corporate Finance Reporting (Technology, Digital Channels, Marketing, Enterprise Data & Analytics, etc.)

  • North American Management Reporting

  • Financial & Regulatory Reporting

  • Data Governance and Analytics

  • Digitization, Automation and Innovation

  • Use your strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to add value to each rotation you're assigned

  • Apply accounting and finance principles to prepare ad hoc analyses, forecasts and business cases in support of business initiatives and in-depth research projects

What You Need to Succeed

  • Committed to pursuing a career in Finance and Accounting and curious about new technologies

  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities, qualitative and quantitative

  • Good business acumen, able to prioritize and demonstrate sound judgment

  • Strong verbal communication (both one-on-one and in small groups) and written communication skills

  • Work effectively in a team environment and develop business relationships (partners and stakeholders)

  • Strong familiarity with Office 365, SharePoint and other collaboration tools

Educational Requirements

  • Completion of pre-requisite courses or admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (CPA PEP) prior to starting the Associate Rotational Program is ideal

  • Graduated in 2024 with a Business undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance, Accounting, Analytics or Data

This is a Toronto-based program starting in the Fall of 2025.
